I am sure you have herd and seen a lot of post on the internet and maybe even a few failed attempts of hydrogen on demand by people who know nothing about how hydrogen fuel systems really work. This makes it that much more difficult for the thousands of us who have done the nessary experimentations with hho fuel cell generators and implementation of a hho fuel system. It is our job to help the public understand the choke hold the Big oil companies have on us today with the outrageous gas prices we are currently experiencing. This can be done by simply adding a HHO Dry Cell Kit to the vehicles they already own.

Well we have we did the research, he have done the test, and most importantly we are users of these hydrogen on demand systems. We believe every one should be able to have this technology installed on their vehicles whether that vehicle be a car, truck, bike, and even diesel’s. With thousands trying to cut down on their fuel bills many have turned to a hydrogen on demand fuel cell. Since this technology has become more and more popular all over the world. The problem that comes those is these hho dry cell kits normally do not come with maintenance instructions. So here is a little checklist for maintaining your “HHO Dry Cell Water Fuel cell”.

Before we begin we talked to many clients of ours from hhogaskitwizard and the same two questions keep coming up. What happens to the hho dry cell if It runs out of water? How do I maintain my hho dry cell? Both of these popular question among our clients have be answered and we will share those answers with you now.

Maintenance a Hydrogen On demand system is quite easy; that is if every thing is installed correctly. All you really need to do is check the cells water levels, check the cell for leaks as well as the hoses. I was able to take a 750 mile trip and used only a few cups of electrolyte mix.

Making sure the water level in your cell is no less then 1qrt to maintain proper function of your hho dry cell. I have found it is best to check this level at-least every other tank of gas. That is unless your are the type of person that puts $10-20 in your tank every other day to make it a little easier on bills. In that case you should check the water level at-least every 500 miles. You may also want to consider increasing the size of the reservoir to around a 2 or 3qrt. Just in case you do forget to check it. While you took the time to check your water level this would be a good time to do a quick run down and check for leaks. Be sure to check to make sure every thing is tightly fastened as well. Typically the only part of a hho dry cell fuel cell that needs to be replaced is the o-rings, depending on how hot your cell gets is the determining factor to replacing these o-rings. As long as your cell does not get overly heated you should be able to get around 5-10k miles for the o-rings. This all depends on your hho dry cell though. Once you have changed them a few times you should be able to determine the best time to change these.

Oh no you ran your hho dry cell dry:

Cells that run to hot tends to cause what is known as boiling the cell out. This normally only creates a bunch of steam and no actual hho gas causing your cell to blow an o-ring and run it completely dry. The same thing will happen if you forget to keep up on your water levels in your cell. What ever the case may be if the cell runs dry and you installed your hydrogen on demand system correctly, there should be a in line breaker or fuse in place. This is so that when your hho dry cell gets to hot it will trip the breaker of blow the fuse. Which in the long run will save you from having to build another fuel cell. The hho dry cell I personally use has just over 30k miles on it. I am guessing I will need to replace the plates right around 50k miles unless some thing major goes wrong before hand.

As you can see maintaining your hho dry cell is just as easy as it was to build it. If you feel you need more help on the maintenance to your dry cell. What Hydrogen on Demand really means is the Hydrogen Generator produces HHO Gas which is used as it is made, the hydrogen gas is not stored for later use. This method of HHO Fuel production is safer then storing huge amounts of hydrogen.

With in a few years the auto industry may be eliminating our demand for oil based fuels, this including the ethanol fuels. This is making our auto giants begin to redefine the automotive industry with the use of Hydrogen on Demand systems. The Hydrogen 7 was recently introduced by BMW which will be able to run on both hydrogen and gas. The Hydrogen that is used on the Hydrogen 7 is a liquid hydrogen which has to be kept cold. Many companies like Hydrogen Power Inc have installed hydrogen on demand systems in many vehicles. Hypower Fuel Inc has a new hydrogen reactor called H2R. The H2R retrofit insertion device can be placed in almost any car of vehicle.

With commercial made hydrogen on demand systems becoming a reality for the auto giants, but these same units can be built at home by any one with simple hardware you can find at any local hardware store. Lets go in to just a few reasons why dry cell kits are the king to the older wet cell designs.

Wet cell designs tend to have voltage leakage around the edges of the plates. With this leakage had a loss of Hydrogen output from the fuel cell. This also meant you had to produce more and more voltage to your cell in order to produce the amount of desired hho gas. With the power not reaching your plates also means you will not get the desired increase in fuel mileage you where looking for. This loss of current is not present in a hydrogen dry cell plan. These HHO dry cell designs, the voltage is focused on the plates them self, this is why this dry cell design is able to produce more hydrogen as fuel with fewer amps.

A typical hho dry cell design is made of four to five neutral plates, encased in several positive and negative plates. The reason behind the neutral plates is to help lower the voltage on the negative and positive plates. This makes the hho fuel cell run more efficient. The hho dry cell design also produces less heat. This helps the dry cell design produce more hho gas over the older water4gas kits and the wet cell hydrogen generator design, using less power.

A great improvement of the hho dry cell over the wet cell designs is the size of the unit. Making it much easier to find a good mounting location in todays compact cars. Building a simple 4in x 4in hho dry cell produces more hho gas then the older 6in x 12in wet cell design. If it wasn’t for this improvement in the hho design, it would be hard to find a location in some cars today. Being able to mount the cell in many more places over the wet cell design.
