Hydrogen Fuel Cell Technology

Make your car fuel efficient with HHO Technology!

It’s a brand new era and technology is becoming more and more advanced with every passing moment. Electricity can be generated by the sun or water or wind. Recycling can turn a simple can into a whole range of new things. The world is becoming more eco friendly to make sure that for generations to come, our green earth will keep providing us with what it had for years before but there are shortages. Gas is one example of how a shortage can affect our daily lives. The price for fuel has sky rocketed in the last few decades and the increase in the prices are sure to make us a lot more wary of what we do in our cars on a day to day basis.

Hydrogen Generators are the cure for all your current worries about fuel costs. A hydrogen generator has the ability to make your car go longer without having to fill up by adding that extra little bit of needed power to your engine. It’s cost effective and is efficient in saving you too many trips to the fill up station. This can be a bonus for car lovers or those who just need their cars for work purposes.

The best thing about the hydrogen generators is that if you have one installed in your car, you’ll actually be safer. The hydrogen generator switches itself off in case something goes wrong and goes on auto-standby when it senses something out of place so this would imply that you will be far safer as well as more economical when driving your car. There are many other known advantages to the hydrogen generator besides the use of it in your car to save on your fuel consumption.

To be able to have a hydrogen generator in your car, you’ll need fuel cells to run your battery instead of electricity. Hydrogen generators can be made at home very easily. To most people’s surprise, Hydrogen generators have been around for a long time rather then it being a fairly new discovery. They have the ability to replace the need for fuel and have a much simpler way of producing power to a car. This can keep the engine cleaner and save the car for many more years of driving pleasure. Having discovered the many benefits of this system, a few car manufacturers determined that this will be the future of car mechanics.

A homemade hydrogen generator can easily be stored inside the garage and used as and when needed. They are incredibly easy to put together and with the few benefits mentioned above, there is no excuse for planning to go green by creating your own hydrogen generator or having one fitted to your car.

There are many different types of resources that can be used to create hydro power. The studies of it allow for many different variations to be considered. Experts want to make the most effective type of hydro power with the least overhead expense. They want these hydro car offers to reduce emissions and also to be very safe for people to drive.

Right now though they are up against a wall in many areas. For example they are limited with how to store the hydro fuel. The tanks that would have to be placed into the engine are very heavy. Methods to get more fuel stored in less space have to be looked at to make this type of alternative fuel resource work.

A hydro car would have to be able to successful continue using the fuel source in cold weather. That could be difficult due to the liquid elements freezing up. The process of trying to eliminate them from the equation about what will be used for the fuel cells to activate though is something that continues to be looked at.

It is possible that some type of thermostat can be put in place that will keep the hydro car fuel cells from getting too cold. This could be a practical solution but one that would only really work with the vehicle on. Trying to figure out how it would continue to cycle with the vehicle turned off is still out of reach. Of course testing is always being done and new ideas emerge continually that can be evaluated so they aren’t giving up on such an idea.

Securing funding for creating a hydro car is an obstacle too. Getting passed the red tape in the political arena takes a very long time. There are many people pushing for alternative fuel but just as many that are pushing against it. With the economy in a crunch getting government funding for such projects is extremely tough. There simply isn’t enough money to go around.

There are some private sectors though that continue to try to give money fro this particular cost. Some of them include the various vehicle manufacturers out there. They want to be part of the technology that can offer the hydro car. Right now the cost of creating prototype vehicles though is more than $200,000. Therefore it is hard to have too many of them for testing various methods.

Even though the advances with the hydro car have been slow moving, progress is being made. There have been many challenges and with them comes new information and new testing. It is believed that these vehicles will one day allow us to severe ties with countries and our dependence on the oil they sale. The other benefit would be to reduce the problems with our ozone layer.

Run a Car on Water

With the current high gas prices many people are changing how they drive. What is not know though is it is easier to change your car over with a gas conversion kit then it is to not drive half as much. By converting your car over with a gas conversion kit to run with hydrogen as a fuel additive. Has many advantages with how things are going in today’s economy.

So you are probably wondering what exactly is a gas conversion kit any how. Gas conversion kits are simple easy to make devices that convert either convert your car over to or convert your car to run with an alternate fuel. One of the main gas conversion guides being sold today is the water gas conversion kit. These kits/guides teach you how to build a hho dry or wet fuel cell. These fuel cells convert water into what is called hho gas or browns gas. This gas is then feed into your air intake system and mixes with your current fuel.

Once the browns gas mixes with your regular gas it is then ignited by the spark plugs coming with many great benefits. Every one’s favorite benefit to using this gas conversion kit is the fact you will get a nice gas mileage increase from the browns gas. Now if that was all these gas conversion kits did I would be happy enough. Since it cost me over $80 a week in gas with out one of these conversion devices installed on my truck. Yet these gas conversion kits do a lot more then just give you better gas mileage. You will also get a slight horsepower increase from these water gas conversion kits.

Oh no we aren’t done just yet besides the horse power increase and the increase in gas mileage. You also after awhile begin to notice your engine running quieter. This is because the the hho gas that mixed with your current fuel burns hotter then regular gas. There for it begins to clean the internal parts to your engine. Oh yea there is still more to this yet. Whats a cleaner hotter burning engine mean. That’s right you guessed it, because your gas is now burning hotter and cleaner. The emission that your car puts out is greatly reduced.

So if you are anything like me living in or around a large city and have to bring your car in for emission testing every couple of years. This can be a life saver if you are driving an older car. There is still one more major reason why people are converting their cars over with these gas conversion kits though. Now our governments have stepped in for the push to go green. On this years taxes you will receive an extra tax break by installing a gas conversion kit or buying a more fuel efficient car. So as you can see gas conversion kits are doing more good for you and your car then running your car on our soon to be extinct fossil fueled cars. Maybe one day we will all be driving a car that doesn’t require us to use any fuel at all other then our surroundings. Until then we have to rely on the next best thing and that’s the gas conversion kits.

Thinking of trying out hydrogen fuel and want to build youy own Hydrogen Fuel Cell Generator, The Hydrogen Dry Cell fuel cell may be what you need. Since the water4gas hho design there have been many advancements on fuel cells. This advancement is called a HHO Dry Cell. This hho design has almost exterminated the old hydrogen generator plans.

Lets go in to just a few reasons why dry cell kits are the king to the older wet cell designs.

Wet cell designs tend to have voltage leakage around the edges of the plates. With this leakage had a loss of Hydrogen output from the fuel cell. This also meant you had to produce more and more voltage to your cell in order to produce the amount of desired hho gas. With the power not reaching your plates also means you will not get the desired increase in fuel mileage you where looking for. This loss of current is not present in a hydrogen dry cell plan. These HHO dry cell designs, the voltage is focused on the plates them self, this is why this dry cell design is able to produce more hydrogen as fuel with fewer amps.

A typical hho dry cell design is made of four to five neutral plates, encased in several positive and negative plates. The reason behind the neutral plates is to help lower the voltage on the negative and positive plates. This makes the hho fuel cell run more efficient. The hho dry cell design also produces less heat. This helps the dry cell design produce more hho gas over the older water4gas kits and the wet cell hydrogen generator design, using less power.

A great improvement of the hho dry cell over the wet cell designs is the size of the unit. Making it much easier to find a good mounting location in todays compact cars. Building a simple 4in x 4in hho dry cell produces more hho gas then the older 6in x 12in wet cell design. If it wasn’t for this improvement in the hho design, it would be hard to find a location in some cars today. Being able to mount the cell in many more places over the wet cell design.

With gas prices frequently going up to levels that consumers are not happy paying due to our dependence on oil and gas, and an increasing number of people who want to be more environmentally friendly, it is not surprising that many car companies are coming up with designs for cars that run on alternative fuels. One of the more popular design ideas is that of hydrogen fuel cars. A number of different companies are working on these designs, though most are not yet available to the general public. However, some of these cars have reached the testing stage and are on the roads today. It will take a while before these become widely available though.

One of the options for hydrogen fuel cars that has been tested on the road by real people is the Chevy Equinox Fuel Cell vehicle. It doesn’t have any emissions, which is great for the environment. Another option is the Honda FCX Clarity, which is actually available for lease on a limited basis. These two vehicles have each won awards for their environmentally friendly designs, and they are a couple of the options that have come the furthest in development.

Many automakers have jumped onto the hydrogen bandwagon and are in the process of designing and producing hydrogen fuel cars, either those that run on fuel cells or those that use a combustion engine. There are also hybrid hydrogen cars on the drawing boards. Companies working on cars using hydrogen fuel include Audi, BMW, Chrysler, Daihatsu, Fiat, Ford, Guigiaro, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Morgan, Nissan, Peugeot, Pininfarina, Renault, Suzuki, Think, Toyota and Volkswagon. Which of these cars will ultimately end up on the market? It is hard to say, especially since there are so many other options out there for environmentally friendly and hybrid cars.

The main problem with these vehicles is that there isn’t a real good infrastructure of stations offering hydrogen to refill your tank. California has the best infrastructure in the U.S. so far, but the number of stations still isn’t that great, and the quality of the stations varies. Before these hydrogen fuel cars can really take over the market this will have to be fixed. California is one of the states that purchases the most cars, so if they can get the hydrogen fuel infrastructure fixed, maybe the cars will take off and become popular enough that other states will get on board and start creating more hydrogen fueling stations.

Most cars have been running on natural gasoline almost forever. Nothing seemed to ever change from the same old way until the water fuel cell. This doesn’t mean cars can now run on water, because first the water must change into oxygen and hydrogen to make the fuel called HHO. But the water fuel cell is responsible in providing the electricity to do so. Years ago, when pioneered by Stanley Meyers, the fuel was stored in separate sealed tanks, but with new ideas on fuel cells the water is stored then pumped into the carburetor where the fuel cell box awaits to start the car. The gasoline is then clear and odor free. What an original, creative, economically sound idea.

.

Hydrogen fuel cell technology has been catapulted onto the alternative fuel world stage with enthusiasm. Running automobiles on an unlimited supply of water containing hydrogen captures imaginations. This particular alternative fuel technology, however, may be a case of what most scientists and engineers come know, that is, most any technological feet is possible, but at what cost? The more critical aspects of cost and viability in real world applications outweigh the novelty of the achievement.

Have you ever wondered why there can’t be a cheaper, cleaner way to power your car? The truth is that there are many in the works, behind the scenes in the automotive industry. One very promising technology that could replace gas, and help lower fuel costs, is hydrogen fuel cell technology. What’s that, really? It’s a method of converting water into energy for your car, rather than using costly, polluting gasoline.

So how does it work? Hydrogen may be used in an internal combustion engine configured to run on liquid hydrogen though most of the talk is about using hydrogen in fuel cells to generate electricity. A fuel cell is an electromechanical device which uses hydrogen combined with oxygen to produce electricity. That electricity, in turn, drives the electric motors that propel the car. Fuel cell vehicles (FCVs) are thus electric vehicles.

Fuel cells were a part of the Apollo Mission in 1964, employed to run the on board electronics of the lunar module, yet in the intervening years since they have gained little ground in real world automotive applications. Honda has leased a single FCV to a carefully screened Southern California family. This is the only Honda FCV being driven by any non industry citizen in the country. They refuel at a plant nearby, one of a handful in the country.

The source for hydrogen can be water, the most abundant resource in the world as advocates of this technology will point out. Hydrogen exists nowhere in a pure state, however, and must be isolated from compounds that contain a hydrogen element. This process is energy intensive. Obtaining hydrogen from water requires splitting the molecule apart via electrolysis. This is the second most common method for obtaining hydrogen. Currently the lion’s share (95%) of all hydrogen produced in the U.S. comes from natural gas  through a process called steam methane reforming (SMR).

Why is hydrogen overwhelmingly derived from natural gas, and not water? The answer lies in the cost of procuring hydrogen through energy-intensive electrolysis. Acquisition through electrolysis of water may become more appealing when scarcity and higher costs of natural gas alter the equation. Using electricity generated from renewable sources is possible as advocates suggest, but this is an inefficient use of that electricity when compared with other alternatives.

The logic in using natural gas or other energy sources to create hydrogen when instead those sources could be used directly to power a vehicle seems questionable. Introducing an added step—converting natural gas or electrolyzing water—requires more energy. The energy will come from fossil fuels such as coal, natural gas, oil, or other renewable sources. However, technology is constantly advancing, and there may be a day, soon, where you can skip the pump, and power your car from the water hose outside.

How Would You Like a HHO Fuel Cell For 75 Watts? Yes, They Are Getting Efficient!

HHO fuel cells for cars are becoming more and more efficient at pumping out HHO ( hybrid hydrogen oxygen ). This dirty hydrogen mixture also known as Egas, Brown’s gas, oxy-hydrogen, hydroxy gas and dirty hydrogen… whatever you want to call it, it’s a potent cocktail. I’ll refer to it as HHO. HHO is three times more potent than gasoline and will boost engine performance. If you like the idea of greatly increasing your mileage, enhancing your engine and preserving our Earth, all for the cost of water, read on.

You Can Run A Fuel Cell On 5 amps

Like I said before, you can get an efficient HHO fuel cell to crank out enough HHO to boost miles per gallon for just 75 watts. 75 Watts is less than one headlight, and regardless of your alternator grade, it has enough beef to crank some efficient HHO. The secret is in the design and the ability to lean back your fuel. Once you introduce HHO you need to lean back your fuel to compensate. This of course depends if your engine is pre 1995 or not. Regardless you want to supplement your gas or diesel with HHO. You can greatly increase diesel engines by the way, not to mention using bio fuels with HHO.

HHO Acts Like High Octane But Gives You More MPG

HHO is an 85% efficient fuel that your introducing to a 26% efficient engine, some are higher than others, but for arguments sake, 26% is the norm. Regardless if your engine falls in the norm or above, HHO will boost your miles per gallon and performance. There are some fuel additives that HHO doesn’t react well with, like acetone. Acetone is a well known fuel additive to increase miles per gallon. For some reason acetone clashes with hydrogen and negates the benefits. All is not lost, the proper mixture of xylene will take the place of acetone. I’m just giving you relevant examples of how to couple gas saving technology to give you the best bang for your buck.

HHO fuel cells are growing in popularity at an astounding rate, hopefully our highways will be saturated with them. These little easy to make and assemble fuel cells really do add miles per gallon. Since the technology has become public domain, they have taken off. Finding the most efficient set of plans is as easy as clicking on a well placed link, from someone who uses this technology. The proof is and always will be under the hood. My hats off to you fellow hydro heads, lets pave the road to efficient fuel! I’ll pioneer ahead with bursts of HHO, and show others how to too.

First, we all know how high gas prices are right now, HHO Fuel Cell Technology can take action to this problem, but the oil price will keep rising for the whole summer. So this means we are going to waste even more money for fuel by the end of the summer.

If we want to keep our “green tickets” in our wallet, we only have a few options. We could stop going into the biggest gas stations, not to name any. But for this method to have any effect on gas prices, we would have to be hundreds of thousands who stop going there. And we all know this is something almost impossible.

Second option is to buy a real hybrid car, but I am not going to elaborate too much about this option, because we all know this is probably too expensive for most of us.

And finally, we can use gas savers to try and save money.
But don’t be naive.. Not all the gas savers work properly ! Actually, most of them will not significantly improve your gas mileage. I am not saying that none of them works, but you probably won’t ever notice any change. As always, there is one exception to this rule, and the system called hydrogen gas savers or HHO fuel cells will give you the results you are looking for.

These systems work so well that you can save up to 40% on gas. And the most interesting part about these systems is that you will achieve these results by using water ! Just like a hybrid car, without spending thousands for your system. Even better; because of a guide released by a certain Ozzie F., anybody can actually build their own device and install it on their car for about $60.

Find out more about Ozzie’s device in this website.
