What the first explanation comes down to is HHO gas helps both gas and diesel burn cleaner inside the combustion chamber of the engine. This is because hydrogen ignites sooner at a much lower temperature’s then current fossil fuels. Also note just because it ignites at a lower temperature doesn’t mean it burns at a lower temperature. HHO gas actually burns around 10% hotter then regular gas or diesel. Because of this it helps to lower emissions and increase horse power slightly in the process of adding this with current fuels.

While the enthusiast claim HHO technology works because our current automobiles only use about 30% of its fuel in the internal combustion engines. HHO gas helps to increase this efficiency by as much as 60-80%.

Yet there is still another explanation as to how and why HHO technology works in our current fossil fuel burning vehicles. These advocates believe HHO gas displaces some of the gas or diesel fuel in the cylinders. There for both HHO gas and regular gas or diesel are the fuels injected into the cylinder at the same time.

From what was learned in grade school science classes. Is that two objects cannot occupy the same place at the same time. There for some gas is displaced with the HHO gas. There for this would be displacement of gas which helps give it a increase in gas mileage and better fuel economy. Helping to reduce emissions at the same time.

However for many HHO technology works is academic. All that is known is that by installing a HHO device on a vehicle it comes with many great benefits. These benefits include getting better gas mileage, making the car run smoother, a slight horsepower increase, lower emissions of greenhouse gases put out by the vehicles and as of recently our governments are handing out a $2000 tax credit to anyone who installs one of these devices on their vehicle.

Lets go in to just a few reasons why dry cell kits are the king to the older wet cell designs.

Wet cell designs tend to have voltage leakage around the edges of the plates. With this leakage had a loss of Hydrogen output from the fuel cell. This also meant you had to produce more and more voltage to your cell in order to produce the amount of desired hho gas. With the power not reaching your plates also means you will not get the desired increase in fuel mileage you where looking for. This loss of current is not present in a hydrogen dry cell plan. These HHO dry cell designs, the voltage is focused on the plates them self, this is why this dry cell design is able to produce more hydrogen as fuel with fewer amps.

A typical hho dry cell design is made of four to five neutral plates, encased in several positive and negative plates. The reason behind the neutral plates is to help lower the voltage on the negative and positive plates. This makes the hho fuel cell run more efficient. The hho dry cell design also produces less heat. This helps the dry cell design produce more hho gas over the older water4gas kits and the wet cell hydrogen generator design, using less power.

A great improvement of the hho dry cell over the wet cell designs is the size of the unit. Making it much easier to find a good mounting location in todays compact cars. Building a simple 4in x 4in hho dry cell produces more hho gas then the older 6in x 12in wet cell design. If it wasn’t for this improvement in the hho design, it would be hard to find a location in some cars today. Being able to mount the cell in many more places over the wet cell design.

HHO stands of Hybrid Hydrogen Oxygen. With rising fuel costs, HHO looks set to be a real life saver. The main idea is to convert the car, using HHO technology, to run on water instead of petrol. It is a more efficient way of burning gasoline.

A car that is HHO powered can burn gasoline at such efficient rates that some owners claim to enjoy as high as 70% increased gas efficiency. Also, when you use water to burn gas, the engine tends to be cleaner, since there are less carbon deposits. In addition, it is also more environmentally friendly, with less emissions that may be harmful to the environment.

The way the technology works is simple enough. First, you need a special water to gas device to separate the hydrogen from the oxygen. Water is actually H2O. In other words, it’s 2 parts hydrogen, and 1 part oxygen. The device is used to separate the gases.

Contrary to popular belief, the car don’t actually run on entirely on water. Water is not a direct substitute for traditional gasoline. Gasoline is still required for this system to work. However, with HHO generators installed, the car now runs with improved efficiency, hence leading to huge savings.

The entire setup may require you to buy different pieces of hardware. Important parts include the Vaporizer, the Electrolyzer, the MAP Sensor Enhancer, the Fuel Heater, the PCV Enhancer, the Fuse holder wiring, and the Catalyst.
